This is certainly good news to fans and followers of Sarkodie, Efya, Atumpan,
Mzvee, Kaakie, and Basa Kdei as their
artists grabs nomination in the 2016 edition of Kora music awards.
Ghana can boast of six strong artists grabbing
nomination slots in the 2016 Kora awards
The BET award winner Sarkodie got a
nomination with “Adonai” featuring castro in the Best Collaboration category and
in the Best Hip Hop category Sarkodie’s New guy featuring Ace Hood was also there.
One of the finest voices in the Ghanaian
music industry Efya also got a nomination in the Best female West African
category with “Forgetting me”.
Promising Ghanaian artist Mzvee had her name
registered in the Best Urban Music category with her hit track “Hold my now”.
Bisa Kdei who currently has one of the hit
songs in Ghana also got a nomination with “Mansa” in the Best Male Africa category.
The “Kumcha” hit maker Kaakie also got her
song nominated in the Most Promising Female Artist of Africa category.
Atumpan was not left out he found his name
in the same category as Bisa Kdei. His track “No dulling” got him the
nomination.
