Champions league is a cover of Stonebwoy’s ‘People Dey’ track. ‘The Champion’ Shatta Wale wasn’t left out of this one, as the High Grade Family leader Samini threw some shots at him.
According to Samini on this tune, “no boy kyaan trick me with fake adidas”. The line in particular takes us back to when Shatta Wale wore a fake Adidas outfit for his Bie Gya music video. According to Shatta, he wore it for publicity sake, but Samini’s not letting him go scot-free with the excuse, as he reiterates that Wale was caught unaware, implying that he (Samini) is way too smart to be duped like that.
On the tune, he also boasted of his ability to bounce back from rough times, and still being the people’s choice.
Shatta on the other hand, still has a diss track to reply, which we haven’t forgotten of, after Samini’s Vextra. He only used his Twitter fingers, promising a diss track which still hasn’t surfaced.
