One musician who doesn’t play with music videos is Black Avenue CEO, D-Black. Indeed, we can say that almost every D-Black song, has a video attached to it.
Well, D-Black on Metro TV finally disclosed
why he doesn’t joke with videos. According to the Vera hitmaker, it’s
not easy to breakthrough when you are a rapper in English, and so that’s
why he always makes sure he shoots videos to his songs so that the
video would speak for him.
“It’s not easy to breakthrough when you rap
in English, i think I’ve done well. So, with that, I do quality videos
to speak for me.”
On some qualities that will make him sign an act onto his Black Avenue label, he said,
“Hunger, drive, that ambition has to be there before I will sign you.”
