They say to be forewarned is to be forearmed; and that is exactly what
sensational Ghanaian dancehall artist MzVee has done. In an interview on
Citi FM’s Brunch in the Citi
“That night you should be there to see something special rehearsed for you. Come and let’s have fun.”
MzVee, born Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda, will on December 24 take the stage with
some of the nation’s most revered artistes at Accra-based Citi FM’s Decemba 2 Rememba music concert. According to her, she will unveil a new phase to her hits such as ‘format’, ‘borkor borkor’ and Ree-ve-la-tion.
Other performers at the event billed as the official Christmas party of
the year at the Accra International Conference Center include
M.anifest, Guru, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, Keche and Kontihene.
MzVee has developed into one of the most influential female acts in
Ghana, performing on several platforms in Ghana and in the sub-region.
It is highly anticipated that the songstress will perform her hits with
Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy that have become mainstays on radio stations
across the country.
The night will also feature performances from Ghanaian comedian DKB,
with guest appearances from the nation’s A-list celebrities.
The Citi FM Decemba 2 Rememba concert comes off on
Wednesday, December 24 at the Accra International Conference
Center. Tickets are available at Citi FM and the Airtel Shops at the
Accra, Madina, Tema, Osu and the Marina Malls.
The 2014 edition of the nation’s official Christmas party, Decemba 2
Rememba, is sponsored by Airtel, Dynamite energy drink and Kupenda
