I would’ve been much bigger in Ghana if... - Shatta Wale

Controversial dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has stated emphatically that he would have been much bigger than he is in the music industry if Kumasi is the Nation’s capital.

According to him, presenters in Kumasi promote his songs more often than their colleagues in Accra.

Shatta Wale, who believes he is very popular in Kumasi, said lots of his songs are promoted well in Kumasi than Accra.

‘ It is only in Kumasi that people well promote my songs which receive little or no airplay in Accra,’ he said.

Speaking on Ultimate’s E-Review hosted by Naa Klordey Odonkor he advised his fans in Kumasi to stay focused and pray for him without ceasing.

‘I want to tell my fans in Kumasi that God bless them, through them I have been able to get recognition all over the world, they should stay focused and pray without ceasing,’ he urged.

The self-acclaimed dancehall King, who has parted ways with his manager Bulldog disclosed that he is in talks with a Jamaican record label and hinted that he is optimistic of sealing the deal by December or early next year.

Shatta over the weekend released a new song titled ‘Amira’, a party song, for beautiful women in Ghana and across the world, showing appreciation to the good things his fans especially girls do for him.

Meanwhile, Maverick Movie Producer, Socrates Sarfo who believes the relationship between Shatta Wale and his Manager Bulldog has been solid has promised to ensure that the two come together.
