Dj Bass 2nd runner up of this year’s BPM One National Dj Championship claims Dj Wabs winner of the competition found luck on his side and has also expressed disappointment in some competitors.
Explaining in a recent interview, Dj Bass registered his displeasure in some happenings which he claims took place at the contest.

In the interview, he accused Dj Que (1st runner of the championship) of playing a recorded tape in the competition to deceive all who were present at the event, this he said almost led to him pulling out of the competition at the final stage.

“Well I noticed some Djs were trying to play smart, it’s a competition were we all exhibit what we know or we have in ourselves and some people try to be smart about it and play a mix more or less and just try to deceive the crowd, the judges and any other person who was there that yes they were actually doing what they were doing which I think wasn’t fair enough.”
“Dj Que’s per say, from the look of things you could easily tell that his act was premade. All he had to do was to just put in the CD
and the press the play button and just pretend he was doing what he was doing but then that wasn’t the case.”

Reacting to Dj Wabs’ win at this year’s BPM One National Dj Championship, Dj Bass stated that Wabs won the competition due to the misunderstanding between Que and himself and for the records Wabs victory was out of luck because he is not a match any of them.

“Wabs won because myself and Que were having issues, had it not been that I think he would have been 3rd or whatever position he would have been because he doesn’t match to any of us at all.”
“He won out of luck… I told him and he knows it”

The real mash up king” as he prefers to be called added that there has not been any tremendous change in the competition and that it has just been Dj Que and himself pushing the art form to its current pedestal.
He also advised that it’s high time Ghanaian Djs stepped up their game to meet the competition.

According Dj Bass the Platform has become monotonous and less competitive and for that matter plans on pulling out.
