Sarah Kwablah to release visual if Gyan fails to apologise to her

The lawyer representing Sarah Kwablah, Ekow Micah and Osarfo Anthony, Dr. lawyer Maurice Ampaw has stated that his client and complainant, Sarah Kwablah will release the visual and the evident regarding ‘rape and sodomy’ against Ghanaian skipper 

Asamoah Gyan in he does not come out to apologize to her and her family.

The outspoken lawyer also known as the ‘the celebrity lawyer’ disclosed this to BREEZE 90.9 FM’s reporter, NTEWUSU PHILOMINA LISA at a press conference held at Cocoanut Groove Regency hotel in Accra today 9th December 2015.

He lamented that the due process of a rape and sodomy case was not pursued by the police and the attorney general and he and his client Sarah were not happy.

“Investigations were done but no arrest was made, there was a bail but in this case the law does not allow bail for rape and sodomy or it’s the court that has the right to bail.

All if a sudden we get to hear that the accused (Asamoah Gyan) has organized a press conference to inform the public that Attorney General(AG) has dropped all charges against him meanwhile the complainant is not aware of this update by the AG, how is that” he exclaimed.

He continued and said he and his client Sarah Kwablah would take the case to international bodies if skipper Asamoah Gyan fails to apologize to the Kwablah family.

“if AG has no interest in this case, fine, am sure if elections are conducted and a new attorney general is appointed to that office we will take it on but if we see that Ghanaians are not interested either the we will take the case to international bodies like FIFA, 

International Committee on Human rights, African Human right amongst others” he lamented. 

“All we want from skipper Asamoah Gyan is not money but an apology to Sarah Kwablah and her family but if this is pursued and Asamoah Gyan fails and still parade himself as he has not done anything wrong to my client Sarah Kwablah then the only option is to let her release the visuals and evidence of rape and sodomy to the general public, simple” he added.

In attendance at the press conference was Dr. Lawyer Maurice Ampaw, the victim and complainant, Sarah Kwablah, her mother, Ekow Micah, Osarfo Anthony and the mass media.
