If you’ve never come across any
Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) worker in your entire life before,
you probably might think you’re the smartest human on earth; and if you
think you are the master of promises, it’s certain you’ve not met ECG’s
boss (the god of promises) before.
Amidst the unending power
crisis Ghana is facing comes with a lot of fake promises from the Power
Ministry, ECG, VRA, GridCo, and the president himself.

though ECG promised to end ‘dumsor’ in December, they’ve officially
announced that they did not specify the year, implying they did not say
December 2015. What a smart move!
A tweet by the organization
stated “So many Ghanaians are accusing us of promising to end Dumsor in
December. December, yes! But did we specify which year?”
