Reggie ‘N’ Bollie are set to be winners, no matter what the X-Factor final result, after Cheryl Fernandez Versini admitted she will make the duo the first signing to her new label.
And X Factor boss Simon Cowell has given her the green light to do so.

Speaking ahead of this weekend’s final, where Reggie, 31, and Bollie, 29, performed a duet with Craig David, the ex-Girls Aloud star said: “There’s no chance I’m letting these boys out of my fingers. They aren’t getting away.

“I’m working with them on their album whether they want me to or not. I’m deadly serious.

“Simon has offered me a label for years but this would be a good act to start with.

“I think Simon and I need to sit down and have some serious conversations about it.”

And Simon, 56 - who would normally sign up the winners and some finalists - said he’d be happy to step to one side and let Cheryl take care of Reggie and Bollie.

“If she wants to get involved then I would invite her to,” he said. “Even if they won. I think she should. They’ve got a real shot.”

Louisa Johnson, 17, is the favourite to win the ITV talent show, but says the expectation doesn’t worry her.

Performing with her mentor Rita Ora, 25, she said: “I don’t feel pressure by people saying I’m the favourite or Simon and Rita saying they discovered a superstar.

“To be honest it just gives me confidence to believe in myself which I’ve struggled with in the past.”

And Che Chesterman, 19, who sang with legend Rod Stewart, 70, said he is dreaming of chart success after this weekend.

“For me to be in the final in the best year for talent is a massive honour. To be in the charts is the dream.”
