11th March, 2016 will forever go down in the minds of concert-goers who attended Sarkodie’s Indigo O2 Concert as one of the best shows they have attended in their life. No two ways, no qualms.

Hosted by Ghana’s own, Dj Abrantee and with great support from Dj Mensah as well as the Compozers band, the performances started with some acts as such as NSG, Dj Afro B with decale dancers among others rocking n rolling the much-packed crowd.

As soon as the hyperactive crowd heard, ‘Dj Mensah- the Untouchable, the warm up period started. Then came the time for the big deal to start. His entrance caused disarray as the audience stood to their feet and started shouting and screaming in anticipation to his performance proper. That’s when you would hear ‘Sark we love you, Sark you are the best, Sark we are here because of you, Sark too much among others. Sarkodie mounted the stage around 9:47pm.

With Dj Mensah backed by the compozers band, he started his performance with When I grow up, then to Pizza and Burger, SarkNation, Illuminati and more. After warming his way into the hearts of the audience, he then journey straight to the world of the Mary Album as he performed songs like Mary, Mewu.

On regular basics, you would attend concerts and see the VVIPs just on their seat throughout the concert, but that did not happen at this concert. Almost everyone in the Indigo 02 auditorium were on their feet. Indeed, when you have good songs that the audience can relate to, they perform your songs for you with great enthusiasm.

He changed his attire for the 3rd time and when he came on stage, come and see the reaction of the crowd when he dropped Oluwa is Involved, Am in Love with you, Borga, Dancehall commando, readers, it was just a sight to behold. Don’t forget it was live band oo, no miming!

You should have seen the crowd’s reaction when Fuse ODG came on stage for their ‘Down on one’ performance. He ended his performance some minutes past 11am with his monster song ‘Adonai. At this point, it was as if church service was ongoing, the patrons were singing ‘Adonai’ as if it was one of those popular Methodist hymns. Men were dancing, women were screaming and crying, it was like some sort of musical confusion was created among the patrons.

Big ups to Sarkodie for that mesmerizing performance, it was lit, sterling, stunning, epic, energetic, I can’t even describe what you did with words. But seriously that drummer deserves a pat on his back. He even wanted to take the eyes off Sarkodie. The guy was just something else. More or less, it was as if he was possessed, closing his eyes, and still hitting it with that great zeal and enthusiasm. Big ups, drummer, you’ve done it all.

All in all, it was a show not to have been missed at all as patrons left for the homes panting and with goose-bumps all over. Sarkodie, meenhh you do all! Another History right there.
