My 16 Years Song Was To Encourage The Young Girls, Says Mzbel
Born Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah but widely known as Mzbel, has hinted in an interview with Kofi Asante on A1 Radio that her popular hit song ‘’16 years’’ with missing hiplife star Castro was purposely targeted on the young ladies.

Mzbel, stated the plans behind that song was to alert and educate the young ladies to be vigilant of men, because most of them never have plans to offer services for free but will demand your pride on bed in return.

The controversial songstress, who have added her name to the list of musicians composing campaign songs for political parties stated some men always have a hidden agenda when it comes to helping a lady, ‘’so there was a need for me to release that song to create an awareness specially to the women to be mindful of their encounter with such people’’ she emphasized.

Reacting to the issue of why she is always in the news for the negative reasons, the musician stated she usually gets very annoyed about how her words are misquoted but wouldn’t want to comment to change anything describing as waste of time because most of the news are based on falsehoods.
