Rick Ross has had a musical relationship with Drake. Which made it
awkward for him when his MMG artist Meek Mill started trouble with
Drizzy last year
While Ross stayed mostly above the fray, he did needle Drake (and his record label) on his track Color Money.
Today, Ross made his most explicit attack on Drake yet during his appearance on N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN’s Drink Champs podcast. He started out by saying he hadn’t spoken to Drizzy in some time. Then he questioned the Canadian’s pockets.

“I know I’m a rich nigga, I know what Meek Mill getting. Everybody don’t know what they business like. I don’t really know what’s touching they bank account,” Ross said, and then laughed to confirm the “they” he was subliminaling at was Drake. Finally, Ross explained that while he has spoken respectfully about Drake in the past, that doesn’t mean he won’t be ready to go on a full-fledged attack if need be.
“If it’s gotta go there, Renzel gonna jump off the porch on your ass,” he threatened. “That’s just the way I’ve always been and I’m gonna die that way. You just gotta know what you doing for my dogs, for my family,.”
