Samini Dissed Burna Boy With ‘Champions League’ Song?
Beefs have  been trending for quite some time now and Samini, who does not look like slowing down anytime soon, has extended his jabs at Nigerian Dancehall/Reggae Artiste Burna Boy.

The High Grade boss  has called Nigerian singer Burna Boy’s  dreadlocks “fake” in his new song “Champions League”, a cover of Stonebwoy’s People Dey.The song, produced by Beatz Dakay, has sparked controversy already with some punches seemingly geared towards Shatta Wale. On Burna Boy, Samini sings;

“Commercial tunes still ah rocking charts,
 I speak from my mind and me label it facts
and me nuh fake like Burna Boy locks”
The sudden brand change from the “Punk Shaba Ranks” to the new look caused a bit of panic when fans first saw Burna Boy in Cynthia Morgan’s “Simatiniya” music video. As to how long it takes one to grow their locks is a discussion for another day.

It can be recalled that in 2013, Samini threw some shade at music duo P Square for sampling “Azonto” and calling it “Alingo”. Though P Square didn’t respond to the diss song, actress / musician Tonto Dikeh lashed back at Samini for his comments.
