Dancehall singer Shatta Wale will Sunday August 13, perform for patrons in Kumasi in a show dubbed Shatta Wale for Peace Concert. This forms part of his initiative for incident-free elections come December.
The concert which comes off at the Bantama High Street, is in collaboration with EIB Network’s Abusua FM and FM, as well as entertainment outfit Rich Game.
Shatta Wale, over the past five years or so, has become a powerful voice in Ghanaian discourse, especially through his music. It is obviously as a result of this that he feels the need to add his voice to the cry for peaceful elections later this year. The concert is sure to see overwhelming patronage as is characteristic of his performances.
