Coke Studio Launched To Boost GH Music
Coca-Cola last Thursday launched the Ghana edition of the Coke Studio at the 805 Restaurant in Accra.

The Coke Studio is an initiative by Coca-Cola which brings together musicians across the African continent to create unique and distinct sounds from different genres, regions, languages in live studio recordings.

The star-studded launch was attended by many notable personalities in the Ghanaian showbiz fraternity including the four artistes representing Ghana were paired off with other artistes from some African countries.Feli Nuna paired off with Chameleon and Neyman from Uganda and Mozambique respectively, Artiste of the Year, EL, was paired with Jaguar from Kenya, singing sensation Efya paired off with Eddie Kenzo from Uganda while Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy, paired with Haile Roots from Ethiopia.

Ghanaian viewers are not left out of the fun as they get to follow proceedings from season one of the Coke Studio which airs from today, October 8 at 5pm on TV3 as well as on YFM every Sunday at 2pm from October 16.

The Marketing Manager, Coca-Cola Equatorial Africa Ltd,Kgomotso Tabane encouraged viewers to be keen followers of the amazing journey of music discovery. “We are all enthused about Coke Studio as it promises to be a whole new world of music discovery. Different styles and rhythms all brought together on one platform to showcase the great talents we have in Africa,” she said.

Speaking to Daily Graphic, Efya said, “It’s been such a great platform to be on it has been an incredible learning experience and it’s an honour for Coca-Cola to select me as one of the artistes to be on this platform,” she said.
