Speaking on Rhythms Live with Berla Mundi, the former host of the Alhaji programme, Alhassan Suhuyini, National Democratic Congress (NDC) MP elect for Tamale North, on Radio Gold said both Samini and Manifest have strong lyrics that goes beyond just sounds and rhythms.

On the success of Shatta Wale and Sarkodie, he said they are making it music wise because they are just lucky.
