Tags

South African rap artist Kiernan Jarryd Forbes well known as AKA has in a shocking turn of events announced his departure from VTH Season, a record label to which he was signed.
Quite surprising, the musician in a string of tweets on Friday October 14 revealed he was no more with the record label and that was because nobody wants to “deal with Raphael Benza” (owner and Director of New Business Development at VTH Season).
The musician revealed he has been quietly working on setting up his own record label. He further states, that means liberty to work on his music and have time for himself and family.
As shocking as the news sounded to a fan who asked whether indeed he had fallen out with VTH Season, the rapper revealed what existed was more than a “fallout” but rather “far worse than Birdman/Wayne type sh*t”.
The musician has now announced a new record label called 3RDWRLD.
The rapper thanked his fans for the support and asked them to continue to support his career.
He also advised Yanga, Berita, Tresor and Big Star to secure their future by hiring the services of a “good Chartered accountant & an attorney”
VTH Season is a boutique full service entertainment and marketing company which exists to bring unique talent & distinctive music to the universe.
As an African boutique 360 degree music entertainment marketing agency, VTH Season is the home of a growing and diverse roster of recording artists, writers and producers including Tresor, Berita, Yanga and Big Star.
