Blame Obour Not Tinny - Kan I
There seems to a lot of shots being thrown at veteran Ga rapper Tinny and most of the attacks seems to be from Ga rappers and singers. We will recall that not long ago, Wisa Greid of ‘ekiki’ fame verbally attacked Tinny.Midibebom Hitmaker Kan-I has responded to the latest salvo thrown at Tinny from Genesis of D2 fame. It was reported in the past weekend edition of Graphic showbiz that Genesis granted an interview where he described Tinny as selfish for not coming to the aid of Ga rappers. During an exclusive interview with ghbillboard.com, Kan-I strongly came to the defense of Tinny.

He noted that most rappers were rather intimidated by Tinny’s dominance and thus could not approach him for assistance.

“Tinny is like a brother to me as you already know and I can tell you that he is one of the most selfless and helpful guys in the industry, ask Shatta Wale, ask Stonebwuoy or Jupitar the kind of help Tinny gave them when they were not yet stars”, He is the type of guy who helps everybody that approaches him for help including myself. You have to approach him the right way and I can guarantee you that he will be of some help to you. He does it all the time”, He said.

He again stated that Genesis should have rather blamed the president of Musiga,Obour, for not putting into place mechanisms to help new artists learn from veteran stars.

”I think one of the failures of Obour is that he has missed a chance to connect upcoming artists with established stars so that knowledge and experience can be transferred, he should have put together workshops and seminars where some of these superstars can mentor the up and coming ones so Genesis of D2 should blame Obour, not Tinny” Kan-I concluded.

He also discussed his music career and future releases stating that the follow up single after midibebom is an infectious dancehall song titled “TingaLing”. a song which features the general Jupitar is set to be released soon after the upcoming elections.
