Thousands of people have taken part in the third edition of the Starr FM-powered ‘S Concert’.
For the third year running, the Accra-based station’s event attracted incredible patronage, after similar crowds for the first and second editions.

The Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday into Sunday morning witnessed an assembly of musicians who treated close to an estimated 50, 000 people to hours of nonstop fun.
Crowned by Shatta Wale, who performed till some few minutes before 6am, Sunday, it also featured serial star performer Sarkodie, as well as E.L, Rudebwoy Ranking, Medikal, Tee Phlow, MzVee, Eno, Ras Kuuku, Article Wan, Wisa, Nii Funny, Yaa Pono and over 20 other mainstream and upcoming acts.

Sponsored by Kasapareko, the concert started at about 7pm local time, Saturday, allowing relatively unsigned acts to perform before the headliners graced the event.

A combination of fireworks, sometimes worrying, other times well regimented from the crowd, lighted up the venue performer after the other. It however went into an overdrive when Shatta Wale came on stage some minutes past 4am, Sunday morning.

Wale, who came after a solid output by Sarkodie, moved from casting innuendoes at colleague acts to coordinating a perfect call back response session with the patrons, who loved every bit of it.

Save for some security breaches, the 2016 S Concert lived up to its hype.
