Gospel act, Perpetual Tsahey, known widely as Perppy, is determined to
put smiles on the faces of children again this Yuletide with the third
edition of her ‘Let A Child Smile’ street party.According to Perppy who is also the CEO of Perppy Music, this year’s
event will also include free health screening for all the children who
will come to the 10.00am party on Saturday, December 24 at the Tema
Community 1 Centre. A member of the UP Band that won the Season 2
contest of TV3’s Band’s Alive programme, Perppy has thrown an open
invitation to all musicians willing to perform to entertain the children
to drop by and be part of the party.
The ‘Let A Child Smile’ street parties have been well-attended in the past and Perppy is looking to another jolly time with the children while helping to meet some of their health needs. Several children were registered free of charge onto the National Health Insurance Scheme at last year’s party.
