Ghana defender, Baba Rahan is expected to return to the field in May, rather than July which was reported earlier.
Baba Rahman who is responding quickly to treatment is set to return to the field in May against the earlier reports that he would be back to full fitness in seven months.
The 23-year-old suffered an injury in Ghana’s opening Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) game against in January, 2017.
Baba Rahman undergone surgery and was initially supposed to get back to fitness in May, but he is set to return two months earlier because he is making progress to recovery.
"With the progress he is making, he could return to full fitness in May which means the initial seven months recovery time prescribed could be less by two months and that means it will be time for pre-season ," Mr Okraku told the Graphic Sports in an interview.
The Black Stars defender, who is on loan from Chelsea to Schalke O4 was visited by officials of the Ghana Football Association, as he recovers from the injury sustained while on national duty.
