Ghanaian multi hit maker Nana Yaw Maradona well known as Guru has in a surprise turn of events pulled out of the 2017 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
This comes virtually 24 hours after Charterhouse, organizers of the awards scheme released the full list of nominees.
Securing 3 nominations in the awards would not deter the musician from speaking out on the awards and eventually withdrawing from the awards.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Nydjlive, the musician who has over the years released hit singles after each other revealed he was simply not interested in the awards scheme anymore.
He would however not speak further to it.
Guru secured three (3) nominations in the 2017 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
The nominations included Hiplife Song of the year, Hiplife/Hiphop Artist of the year, and best collaboration of the year.
