Ailing actor, Emmanuel Armah has been presented with a brand new
wheelchair, cartons of water and other items including a cash amount of
GH¢1,000 to aid his recovery.
The items were presented by some friends and fans on Sunday when they paid a visit to the him at his home in Accra.
The one time prominent actor known for roles in ‘Fresh Trouble’, ‘Things Men Do’, ‘Beyond Love’, and ‘Shadows from the Past’, has been ill for weeks.
Even though it was not clearly established what the cause of his illness is, earlier reports suggested he struggles to walk on his own.
He was admitted at 37 Military Hospital and later released. He is currently receiving herbal treatment at a facility in Kasoa in the Central Region of Ghana.
The group who visited him on Sunday was led by actress Adjoa Pee. She was accompanied by other actresses like Rachael of 'Bongo Bar' series fame, Emmanuella and Eugenia of 'Living with Trisia' series.
Ajoa Pee in an interview said "We presented a wheelchair, car tons of bottled Water, a cash of GH¢1,000 amongst other items.”
She also disclosed that former president, John Agyekum Kufuor also made some contributions but did not mention the exact form in which the donation came.
