Highlife musician Ronald Kweku Dei, known in showbiz as Bisa Kdei, has
revealed he and his former girlfriend parted ways by mutual consent,
contrary to reports that he ended the relationship after hitting the
limelight.
Speaking in an interview with Bismark Boachie (DJ Premier) on Entertainment Capital on Accra FM Saturday February 25, Kdei said: “The breakup was by mutual consent. I was on a TV programme and the host asked me whether I was still dating the girlfriend I used to have when I was not famous and I answered, ‘No, we are no longer together.’ It was by mutual agreement.
“A lot of people are making all manner of comments on my relationship and how it ended but we broke up out of mutual understanding.”
He also denied dating musician Becca.
Eulogising his late mother, the Odo Carpenter hit maker said: “My mother was funny, she made us happy with her usual jokes. I remember when we were kids she used to joke with us so much. We were not affluent, however there was always happiness in our home because of my mother.
“My father on the other hand was generous and it seems I have picked up that trait – I am also generous. My parents were very good people.”
