If there is one name in our music industry who has been credited and given applauds for shooting quality and expensive videos, then there is none than the president of NKZ Music Guru. Whilst some artistes spend little or none on their music videos, Guru and his NKZ management team take their videos as the “final round” in their music profession and therefore put in their all before going on location to shoot their videos. No wonder they won mulitiple awards in the just ended 4Syte music video awards with their song Samba (Check it on youtube).
The ordinary Ghanaian artiste will only shoot a music video from outside Ghana when he travels out to play a gig but Guru is of the exception as he spends money to fly cast and crew around the world to produce high class and world class music videos. www.flexgh.com caught up with the national hit maker on set whilst shooting a couple of music videos expected to be released this year and he told us this in a chat.
“Just as a military man cannot go to the war front without paying attention to his bullets in his arsenals, same way as a musician you have to see your music videos as an arsenal with bullets. I give my all when it comes to my music videos and those doubting can check that on youtube. I hate shooting substandard music videos because i know the power of music videos. Most of my songs get high following after putting out its videos so i know it works for me and the investment has always been worth it. I am about to release about five music videos in a roll so fans of Guru should watch out for it. I am not giving out the details but one thing i can tell you for sure is that, these videos will make a difference again when they come out finally. My videos always make a statement and i know this video will also make a difference” Guru told flexgh.com. “I want my critics to know that my fresh videos will shut them up because they will know i am made of in this industry and what we are looking for” he added.
