People Told Me I Won’t Make It Until I Do Azonto But Now Here Cool – M.anifest

People Told Me I Won’t Make It Until I Do Azonto But Now Here Cool – M.anifest
M.anifest, who we can describe as Rap Rebel leader from Fallujah aka Ghana Rap Moses who has attacked Sarkodie’s rap Kingdom and set his throne on fire, had an intimate show with his friends (Fans) at the Lokko’08 store in Osu over the weekend.

At the room filled event, the godMC shared some personal experiences with his fans.
According to the “Forget Them” rapper, nay sayers attempted submerging his career when he returned to Ghana in 2011 by telling him that he can only be a household name only if he’ll do “Azonto” songs.

Kwame Amet Tsikita, who refused to box himself into the Azonto trend, said it is rather unfortunate to those who hold or held that perception because his style and career is rather on a rapid rise.

M.anifest, who elaborated on why he won’t house an artiste and groom them for exposure like other rappers do, once said “artistry is not is carpentry”. It seems he pretty much meant what he said, as he didn’t show up at the event like usually with Worlasi or Cina Soul but rather introduced and endorsed Faith-Be – a strong, burgeoning vocalist described as African Songbird, who did all the vocals of the night whilst M.anifest threw in some rap lines.
