Self-acclaimed dancehall king Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr known by his
stage name Shatta Wale has launched a scathing attack on Ghanaian
journalists over what is not immediately known.
The controversial musician was recently fined GHS10,000 by Nananom of Oguaa Traditional Council in the Central Region of Ghana for appearing late to a meeting scheduled between himself and the traditional leaders over problems relating to a musical concert he held in the area.
Shatta Wale said “If you wake up you will not think of how Ghana will go forward. All you do is negative news”.
He is also quoted as using unprintable words on no specific media house or individual journalist but sources indicate that his outburst had to do with the negative media publicity about him in recent times.
