EIB broadcaster Anita Erskine has been announced as 2017 ambassador of the woman empowerment conference Starr Woman Project.
Slated for Friday, March 31st at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, the summit seeks to provide mentorship/networking opportunities for women in various fields of entrepreneurship. It was founded by fellow Starr FM host Naa Ashorkor of the zone.

“Well it all started as a simple conversation with my colleagues, David, Mono and Miriam on the Zone. We wanted to come up with a project that will enable women succeed as entrepreneurs by living their dreams and I’m glad this project has come this far to stay and it keeps growing bigger and better every step of the way”, Naa Ashorkor says about the birth of the idea.

Receiving the news of her selection as ambassador, Mrs. Erskine was full of admiration and gratitude about the initiative: “I am very excited and grateful for the support and all, I’m glad Access Bank is on board to support the Starr Woman Project and we look forward to a great partnership”.

Born in Jerusalem in 1978 and raised in Ghana, Erskine has steadily become a key player in media circles, and a constant icon of inspiration, especially to women. She’s currently co-host of the Starr Drive which airs weekdays one Starr 103.5 FM in Accra. She’s also MD of Anita Erskine Media.
