Rapper Edem has described as useless the lyrical war (beef) between the two female dancehall artistes Kaakie and Mzvee.
According to the ‘Koene’ hit-maker who was a guest on Celebrity Fanzone last Saturday on GH One Television, lyrical war becomes very interesting when the artistes involved write the songs themselves.
To him, artistes who rely on others to write diss songs for them is not a good thing because they cannot actually expressed their hard feelings.
When asked what he thinks the beef between Kaakie and Mzvee, Edem quickly responded that, their beef is simply useless because the two don’t their own songs.
“…Beef becomes very interesting when the artistes write their own songs. But the in case of Kaakie and MzVee, they don’t write their own songs so they can’t express themselves lyrically.”
He further put on records that, he and Stonebwoy usually write for Kaakie while Richie Mensah Writes for Mzvee.
“Stonebwoy and I usually write songs for Kaakie while Richie Mensah writes for Mzvee.”
