Ed Sheeran Endorses “Talented” Fuse ODG

English singer Ed Sheeran has praised Ghanaian counterpart Fuse ODG in a recent interview he granted to US- based Power 105.1‘s flagship show The Breakfast Club.
The conversation, which spans nearly an hour, saw Ed discuss various aspects of his life, the influence of island music on his highly successful new album Divide, as well as working with Fuse ODG during his three-week vacation to Ghana.

While in Ghana last year, Ed recorded two songs, one of which ends up on his album. The song, Bibia Be Ye Yie, sung in Fuse’s native Twi, was co-produced by Killbeatz.

“I did spend some time in Ghana… I went over to Ghana for about three weeks and collaborated with an artiste over there called Fuse ODG and he is a very very talented Afro beats artiste”, he said about Fuse.

While in Ghana, the Thinking Out Loud singer sampled Ghanaian culture and cuisine, and even got a tattoo of the national flag on his stomach.

Born in Hebden Bridge, Ed Sheran is most known for such universal songs as The A Team and Thinking Out Loud (which won him Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance at the 2016 edition of the Grammy Awards), and has been associated with Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, One Direction, Bruno Mars among other global stars.
