Leading Total Beverage company Guinness Ghana, has named musician Kofi Kinaata and presenters, Caroline Sampson and Jay Foley as it’s Brand Influencers for its Limited GH@60 product ‘Osagyefo’.
The product has been designed to recognise all incredible people, cultures and monuments across the country who have made Ghana truly ‘MadeofBlack’ over the past 60 years.

The three personalities are expected to use their celebrity brand to draw people to the new product for a  period of three months.

Live Fm’s Business Manager, Jay Foley appreciated management of Guinness Ghana for the recognition and promised to use their influence to make a positive impact.

“Well for sometime I do help promote most of the products of Guinness so they saw the need to bring me on board together with Kinaata and Caroline to help promote their new label ‘Guinness Osagyefo’. I thank them for the recognition.”


Media Personality and Entrepreneur Jay Foley gained mainstream acclaim as a host of Entertainment Television channel 4SyteTV but long before that he had created footprints which continue to inspire young people.

His creative journey started during his primary education at Bishop Bowers School where his colleagues and teachers referred to him as a ’Creative Think Tank’.

He was admired for his ability to come up with ideas for entertainment and other extra-curricular activities.

Foley grew up in many communities, nurturing his talent and leading him to what he is today. His creative thinking process went up a notch high when he gained admission to Achimota School to study Visual Arts.

He convinced a few friends to start a rap group, as a means of enhancing his talent and also following his passion.

To further get knowledge on music, he decided to study sound engineering working with legendary Ghanaian music producer, Hammer.

The experience led to him connecting with his inner self, and also gained confidence in deciding to pursue a career in the creative arts industry.

As a student of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Foley started a network of young people with a burning desire to become great acheivers called 2131 with the tagline Lead, Challenge or Just Forget It.

It was his way of committing to networking with like-minded individuals, and made him develop a mindset that encouraged him to continually work hard at being successful, and not just add to the numbers.

Foley set up his first company The Radio Advertising People (T.R.A.P), which specialized in recording radio commercials. It was born out of an idea to train himself as a sound engineer, and also to understand the power behind speech.

He trained himself in the art of voice-overs ad has become of the most-sought after Voice over artiste.

He believes in “living an exemplary lifestyle to inspire young men and women out there” who are a part of his growing fan base.

The T.R.A.P experience presented him with an opportunity to join leading Entertainment Television Channel 4StyeTV, as a host in its early days – a position he still holds after some nine years.

He later joined Y FM, rising through the ranks to become the General Manager of the station.

Foley is the co-host of Live Breakfast Club, the morning show on LIVE 91.9 FM where he also doubles as the Business Manager.

He also manages award-winning Highlife artiste Bisa Kdei.

Through his efforts, a lot of artistes have gained mainstream appreciation in the Ghanaian music industry and across its borders.

He continues to dedicate his life to motivating, helping and inspiring young people with his exploits. His guiding principle is ‘it’s possible if you believe.”
