Kumawood Movies Are Not Solid – Super O.D

Asonaba Kwaku Darko aka Super O.D. has taken Kumawood actors and directors to the cleaners, describing their works as substandard.
In an exclusive interview with asempanews.com, the veteran actor and comedian recommended a complete overhaul in the Ghanaian movie industry.

He stated emphatically that he does not devote time to watching Kumawood movies as he feels they (current actors) are unable to render scripts to the standard he wished they would.

“I do not actually sit to watch full Kumawood movies, but when I chance on certain scenes, I stop briefly to watch a scene or two. My interest in these movies is low because I feel they do not render it as ‘solid’ as I would if I were playing that role, but you know, they are young and still learning,” he said in his local dialect.
