Menaye Donkor Postpones Event Due To Death Of Sulley Muntari’s Father

A press event to introduce Menaye Donkor as the National Director of Miss Universe Ghana has been postponed due to the death of her in-law, Sulley Muntari’s father.
It was scheduled for June 1st at Carbon, located in the penthouse of Icon House to announce the details for the upcoming Miss Universe Ghana competition in September.

A statement sent to us reads: “Sorry to inform you that due to the death of my father in law, the Press Launch event scheduled for June 1st has been postponed to the 8th of June. I am deeply sorry for any inconveniences. Thank you for your continuous support. I still look forward to seeing you.”

Muntari”s father, Alhaji Muniru died on Monday, June 22 at the age of 62. He coached Kano Pillars, Okwahu United and El-Kanemi Warriors during his active days.

Former Black Stars Player Sulley Muntari is his first son. His youngest son Muniru Junior plays for Romanian side Steau Bucuresti.
