Veteran highlife act Rex Omar has been named one of the main performers to mount Rotary’s Musical Concert and Dinner at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra come Friday, May 19.
An all-white affair, the exquisite night will see Mr. Omar who was recently elected GHAMRO boss, render one of his trademark performances which emphasise audience interaction and majestic vocal quality.
Rex Omar’s most widely -known hits include Abiba, Tokota, Da Di Da Da, Dangerous, among an endless list of other classics.
His sound is a fusion of highlife, Afro-pop, Jazz, and other indigenous influences.
