Rapper Okyeame Kwame was on Saturday May 27, honoured in Germany for his contributions to Pan-Africanism, and positivity in youth culture. The award was presented to him by Interkulterelle Migraten Integrations Centre (IMAC).
Held at Wandsbek Marktplatz (Hamburg), it was attended by esteemed politicians as former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawling, Hon. Rashid Pelpuo, respected artists and other showbiz stakeholders.
Mrs Sylvaina Gerlich, the brain behind the event, emphasised the need for youth everywhere to be able to receive wholesome inspiration from entertainment figures they adore. She also further praised the efforts of the rapper in that regard.
Okyeame Kwame is also recipient of the Key to the City of Cincinnati, the USA’s Presidential Service Award, and a host of others.
