The maiden edition of Ghana Events Awards will take place on August 4 at
the African Regent Hotel and event organisers, Charterhouse
Productions, tops the list with six nominations.
Charterhouse has nods in Ghana’s Favourite Event, Event Company Of the Year, Best Regional Event, Best Event Setup among other categories.
Charterhouse are the organisers of the annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Miss Malaika Ghana, The Night of 1000 laughs comedy series, Ghana Rocks Music Concert, MTN Hitmaker and a lot more.
Ghana Meets Naija by Empire Entertainment grabbed four nominations, while Roverman Festivals of Plays had two nominations. Ghana Movie Awards, Citi FM’s Decemba2Rememba and YFM’s Area Codes were also nominated.
Other categories for the awards include Best Event Photographer, Event Sponsor of the Year and Event MC of the Year.
The Ghana Event Awards aims among others to recognise, honour and celebrate indigenous Ghanaian events and organisers who set the pace for excellence in event management across the country.
The award scheme also seeks to celebrate organisations, as well as individuals making a difference by creating and successfully executing incredible events that meet international standards and have the ability to become a point of reference for others.
