Singer cum actress Mzbel has revealed one of the five things that
people do not know about her is her inability to patronize fake designer
things.
“I do not like using fake things, be it clothes or bags, I just do
not like it. My reason is that, I feel it’s an insult to the designer
who took his or her time to fix things, only for someone else to
imitate.
“For me I would prefer buying one genuine thing and wear it for life
time than buying fake and be using intermittently,” she said in an
interview with Ghanagisttv.
Known in private life as Belinda Nana Akua Amoah, Mzbel returned to
the showbiz scene in February this year after a maternity break with the
launch of her Red Carpet Show.
Mzbel grew up in James Town. She had her senior high education at
Abuakwa State College. She later enrolled at the Ghana Institute of
Languages to become a bilingual secretary and she is known for songs
like Akua, 16 Years and Onye Ogbemi.
