Stephen Creepy, ?Chief Executive Officer, BlackStar SR Entertainment
says he disagrees with suggestions that musicians who engage in lyrical
wars are backward.Creppy’s comments follow a recent truce between bitter rivals, Samini
and Shata Wale at the former’s concert last weekend. Samini and Shata
Wale had in the past taken swipes at each other through their songs and
various social media platforms.
The duo ending the over four-year long feud generated comments from some industry players who described their grudge as unnecessary and of no monetary value to them.
But in an interview with an Accra based Pluzz FM, Creppy said the music industry had over the years witnessed similar grudges that had inured to the benefit of the musicians.
