‘Let Ghana Laugh’ is a tailor-made high-profile comedy night that seeks to bring to Ghana top comedians in Africa to meet Ghana’s frontline politicians and the diplomatic community, CEOs, civil society organisations and a cross-section of Ghanaians at the AICC for a moment of laughter.
The show is being put together by CIBDev Consult Limited, under the auspices of the National Peace Council, will also bring together the leadership of all the registered political parties, especially presidential candidates of political parties contesting the December 2016 presidential elections to promote national unity and the spirit of togetherness before, during and after the elections.
Other high-profile dignitaries who will be attending the programme, according to the organisers, are former President Jerry John Rawlings and John Agyekum Kufuor.
Confirmed artistes billed for the night are Klint Da Drunk from Nigeria and DKB from Ghana. The Armed Forces Band and the Winneba Youth Choir will administer patriotic songs of Ghana.
The show will be chaired by the Most Rev Prof Emmanuel Asante, Chairman for the National Peace Council, supported by the Speaker of Parliament and the Chief Justice.

Throwing more light to the event, Mr John Bosco Tieyiri, the National Coordinator and Chief Consultant on the project, said, “This event is Ghana’s first and Africa’s biggest diplomatic comedy show, which will bring all key stakeholders in this election together.”
The diplomatic comedy show, therefore, aims to bring together leadership of political parties to laugh and build bridges and reduce political tension.
Tickets are currently available at all NIB branches, Vision 1 FM, GBC outer reception, Marina Mall, West Hill Mall, Airport Shell and at AICC.
