Okyeami Quophi now Reverend Daniel Amoanteng has revealed that he is
willing to collaborate with his colleague Okyeame Kwame if he agrees to
do only gospel music.
He indicates that he is not prepared to do music with the ‘Rap Dacta’ if it is not gospel considering his pursuit of the kingdom of God which has changed his way of doing things.
Speaking on Abusua Fm’s weekend entertainment show hosted by Nana Henmaa, he said their split was not over cash but something he was not prepared to divulge.
“I will collaborate with Okyeame Kwame if only he agrees to do gospel. We are not going to do those stupid songs again. If it is something that announces the presence of God and is inspirational, I am ready to partner him”, he said.
The Akyeame duo started in 1997 but had to split in 2003 following some disagreements shortly from their return from the United States of America.
