The third edition of dancehall singer Samini’s annual concert kicks off
November 19 with a clean- up exercise in Fadama, a suburb of Accra.
The concert proper comes off December 3 at the Ghana International Trade Fair Center, and is expected to see performances from several established acts and underground acts alike.Samini, days ago, released Mama Ghana, a collaboration with protege Kofi Kinaata to emphasize peace ahead of the December 7 polls. The song, which has been endorsed by the Electoral Commission, themes this year’s event, and will be performed live on the night.
VVIP, Kwaw Kese, Black Prophet, Tic Tac, Joey B, Gamilla, Kaakie, Jupiter, Mzbel, and Stonebwoy have all previously graced the event, which has been patronized by over 25,000 people.
