Stonebwoy Gets The Blue Tick On Instagram

Multiple award-winning dancehall act, Livingstone Etse Satekla known simply as Stonebwoy, is the latest Ghanaian celebrity to become verified on picture sharing platform, Instagram.
It seems Instagram is no longer considering the number of followers an account has before verifying the person. With 635k followers, the ‘People Dey’ hitmaker joins celebrities like Yvonne Nelson, John Dumelo, Okyeame Kwame who already have the famous blue mark on their accounts.
According to Instagram, “only those representing well known public figures, celebrities, and global brands” have the verified badge on their accounts as a form of authenticity.
Ghanaian celebrities who are yet to be verified on Instagram include Shatta Wale, Jupiter etc
