Nacee Is Denying Me My Share Of ‘Onaapo’ Cash – Mel Fumes
The controversy surrounding the official campaign song of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2016 December elections seems to have been ignited as Mel Kwasi Davis, a member of the team that worked on the song has fumed with rage at musician and record producer, Nacee for refusing to give him his share of the money. An angry Mel speaking on Showbiz Xtra, Saturday, said he did not get anything from working on the ‘Onaapo’ song adding that, Nacee took all the money involved.

He could not fathom why Nacee would decide to deny members of the team their gratifications after sacrificing to promote the song and receiving backlashes from sympathisers of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The “greedy” posture of Nacee, irked him to the extent that the artiste manager described the turnout of event as “nonsense” and highly unacceptable.

“I have worked with too many artistes and I have understood a number of things. There are too many greedy and ungrateful people in the system. And I have said to myself that there are some artistes I will never have anything to do with them again in my life. I am not just passionate about this; I’m very angry about this matter. I’m very angry about it not because I think I have been denied anything but I don’t expect adult human beings to behave as stupid as that. I’m very pissed,” he said while addressing how ungrateful some artistes could be.

“I didn’t get anything from working on the Onaapo song. One person took all the money” he added midway in his submission.

Nacee who composed the political song not long ago, released the gospel version of it.
