Taking pace at the Dancetera Studio in Caprice – Accra, dance company Kyses Studios looks to redefine workout routines with the all new AfroTwerk class, which not only conducts dance lessons for patrons, but also takes them through rigorous workout sessions at the same time.
Twerking, the club- oriented dance has become a global phenomenon, attracting many young women to try it out. Organisers look to capitalise on the enthusiasm, incorporating it with fun workout regiments to culminate in improved health conditions of participants.
The first session takes place on February 25 between 4 pm to 6 pm, and happens every other Saturday. It is powered by beverage producers Rush Energy Drink.
