Street Named After Stonebwoy In Ashaiman

Dancehall singer  Livingstone Satekla, known widely as Stonebwoy has been honoured with a street in his native Ashaiman. This follows a similar honour for colleague Wiyaala, who also recently got a street named after her in her home town of Funsi in Northern Ghana.
Stonebwoy, especially via his music, has been very vocal about his affection for the suburb. Regularly, he stages free concerts among other things as a way of showing appreciation to the town that raised him.

This year has already seen a lot of activity for the BET laureate –releasing new music, engaging tertiary students in lectures, touring, among other activities.

He’s’ also set to release his new album Epistles of Mama (EOM) in coming months.
