One of Ghana’s most popular actors, and recently turned musician, Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly referred to as ‘Lil Win’ has declared himself the most popular celebrity in Ghana.
He is convinced that no one comes close to him, when it comes to ranking celebrities in Ghana.
Nkansah asserted that aside him, there is no celebrity who children are fond of, and as such any show without him is incomplete.
The maverick artiste said this on the heels of allegations that he had pilfered the word “Ladder” from a Nigerian song, “follow the ladder”.
To him, the word is found in the English dictionary, hence he isn’t at fault, with regard to the violation of any copyright laws or the theft of a song.
He added that it has come to his notice that there have been accusations directed at him for words from the Nigerian song.
To this he disagreed, by saying that he is simply creative.
He continued by saying that creativity is simply the spice of life, and that if God had brought to him an idea to modify the song, he sees nothing wrong with it.
He concluded by saying that the word “Ladder” is an English word, hence no one can accuse him of stealing the song, simply because he has produced a song Ghanaians enjoy.
